The Collaborative Camden is located on the main street of Camden.
Our large, open plan space contains 5 offices, a workshop/kitchen, amenities and a showroom/additional workshop/meeting space.
Our front facing offices boast large windows and are filled with an abundance of natural light, a view of the main street below, dressed black timber floors and 10ft ceilings.
Our residents have full access to work, make & create, run workshops and meet with their clients from the one space.
Our office spaces are split into individual and shared office arrangements and suited to anyone looking for a professional space to run their business. Our options do not restrict our residents to a set or limited number of hours per month as many other business hubs do. Our options are available from as little as $46 per week.
The local businesses based in our studio, have by default, established an instant support network for each other where ideas are often exchanged and new opportunities to collaborate are born.
The Collaborative is not a 'clique' or business group, we exist to provide a professional, affordable home in which local businesses can operate and grow their business.

The Collaborative Camden is equipped with 2 spaces within the studio which are available for hire for workshops, team building groups, seminars and small functions.
An abundance of local options via cafes and specialised local caterers are available to keep you and your workshop attendees well watered and nourished while they work.
Our make & create/kitchen space accommodates upto 12 people seated or standing. Stools and tables are included in hire costs.
Our showroom/meeting space is accommodates upto 50 seminar style, 12 - 16 standing with table space to make and create or 30-40 seated at tables, depending on layout. Seating and/or tables is not included in hire costs.

Sugablossom Cakes specialises in Wedding & Celebration Cakes with decadent chocolate based fillings and incorporating fresh fruits, homemade jams and caramels with no faux flavourings or colourings.
"We love creating everything from hand-painted edible art style cakes to the simpler naked cakes, semi naked cakes and rough iced designs with loads of gorgeous fresh florals that we source, prepare and place ourselves".
Our Process: Face to face consultations at The Collaborative are always preferred, however we are also happy to work via email where distance is an issue.

We take inspiration from your choice of theme, colour palette and styling and incorporate elements of this into a cake design that is unique to you. It's pretty fair to say that we have "cake O.C.D" We're a little obsessed about the finer details; sharp edges, no round corners, no gritty buttercream fillings, no leaning cakes, no 'tacky' and no gold or silver uncovered cake boards. We ensure that our design details are flawless to deliver an end product that is not only picture perfect but tastes amazing too.

A trial of your chosen look is recommended prior to your wedding. This gives you a chance to meet with, and get to know Lauren before your big day, it is here that you will see your bridal vision come to life. Together, you will discuss all of those important details; from the gown, veil and headpiece through to your choice of colour palette and timing for your day to create a look that is true to your style and vision.
Lauren will be with you from the beginning of your day; working from the bride, through to bridesmaids, family and/or guests before returning to the bride for final touchups, photographs and placement of the hair pieces and veil. Lauren will be there not only to make you look amazing but also promises to make you feel relaxed and at ease so that you're able to enjoy one of the most important days of your life with an experience that is second to none.

Our wedding workshops are perfect for the DIY bride at heart and a great new way to create your own wedding pieces and without all the fuss! From wedding favours, bouquets, centre pieces, chair dressing and flower crowns, just to name a few. The great thing about our wedding workshops is that all materials & equipment are provided, plus a styled grazing table including bubbly beverages. With the special touches that The Makers Factory provides it makes a special way to bring your bridal party, family & friends together to help you prepare for your wedding or event.
Our event workshop are sure to please people of all ages. From Adult and Children's birthday's to christening, a simple catching up with friends, baby shower and kitchen teas - any occasion really! All materials and equipment provided plus optional grazing or dessert tables including beverages. Packages can be tailored to your needs, budget and skill level. Workshops can be held at The Collaborative Camden Studio or at any requested location.
